It was incredible. For a long time, I didn't know what it was, and no-one could explain it to me. These images are the first, concrete evidence that I've ever seen to know that I'm not crazy :) but, I believe it has to do with the refraction of light in the atmosphere under certain, specific temperatures, as well as atmospheric pressures, among other things.
