From The Top of The Burj Dubai

This is taken from the world’s tallest building Burj Al Arab in Dubai at 2,620ft/801m.

Really amazing. Look at the edge (uppermost right corner) of the picture. You can almost see the “turn” of the earth.

We can not feel the turn of earth. But the persons who are working on the upper most Girders can see the “Rotation of Earth”. So terrifying.

Wow! What a view. It is amazing how you can see the curve of the earth from that height. I’ve been at the tops of mountains but never been able to see this - the other mountains in the range block the direct view of the horizon.

Not a good spot for those afraid of heights. It is stunning, though. I just can’t wrap my head around that view.

this view is surreal, seems like you can walk out and start walking on those clouds.

Those are some awesome pictures. I didn’t even realize there was a building that tall. Great post.

That’s just absolutely unreal about the buildings jutting from up the clouds. Kind of brings in mind what happened to those folks from way back when while they were trying to build a tower to reach the heavens, doesn’t it?

Talk about a room with a view. I agree with cchiovitti, certainly not something for those with a fear of heights.

Those are amazing pictures. It would be amazing to see aircraft breaking through the clouds during takeoffs and landings at the Dubai airport.

People there is No building in the world that would show the curvature of the earth. Only from high altitude (70,000 feet plus) aircraft like the SR-71 Blackbird can you visibly notice the curve. The photo was taken with a “fish eye” lense to show a panaramic view. Very cool photo of the builings poking thru the fog bank. Like the photo of the Golden gate bridge in San Francisco.

Well, both the photographs seem to be really amazing ones…but i surely doubt on the figures u hv provided. Burj al arab is not 801m high, source wikipedia. Now,further, its really astonishin to have a view as shown in second photograph.I believe they may not be true
